1. Our media is dominated by America. For example, google, facebook, msn, apple, cbs, nbc, abc, are all american. In addition often on the CBC, at night, they will phone up a person in the United States and ask them about a political situation that is going on in the United States, such as Detroit. Our emails are monitored by American NSA.
2. A huge amount of our stores are American such as Walmart, Seven Eleven, Target, Outback, Thank God Its fridays, the Hard Rock Cafe, Sears,
3. Most of the movies that you could choose to watch are Hollwood made American movies with American stars or Canadian stars such as Jim Carrey, living in America.
4. The book and magazine publishing industry is dominated by either American or British industry such as Heinle and Heinle, (Boston) Pro Lingua (Vermont) . there ARE Canadian publishers but I couldn’t name one off the top of my head. I would have to research that using Google (American)
5. Canada Dry a pop that was invented by a Canadian is OWNED by an American pop company. Brown’s beverages a pop company in Gravenhurst doesn’t exist anymore.
6. Many inventions, companies even people formerly Canadian are bought by America. Although Doug Venn invented the electric car in Scarborough electric cars seem to be made elsewhere.
7. Casinoes started in Las Vegas seemed to have drifted into Ontario dotting the landscape and because they bring money to politicians are supported by politicians.
8. The work ethic in Canada seems to have a strong influence from the military idea of follow the rules, which seems very American to me. For example many jobs such as security guards, bus drivers and jobs like that have a huge set of rules behind them similar to the American military.
Caveat. I like Americans. I have many American friends. However, I would appreciate seeing more Canadian products, media, culture, attitude in Canada. If you attack the United States, you are attacking us. We Canadians after all, live beside the United states. 
9. Hockey, Canada’s game is constantly won by American teams. For example Chicago is the current holder of the Stanley Cup.
10 Sports, American sports are so popular here, that Canadian sports such as Canadian football, and lacrosse are struggling to survive.
So my point is this. Hey Canadians, try to be more Canadian. I am not saying be Anti American. That is rubbish. Racism. No. I am saying show a little pride in Canada that is all.
